What is the job outlook for web designers in Japan? Would companies be willing to give a work visa to an American with a B.F.A in Web Designer & Interactive Media?

Can you speak, read and write Japanese? do you have unique skills? then the answer is likely to be: may be.

Agreed - basically, if you don't speak and write Japanese (JLPT Level 2 or above) you are unlikely to get any work apart from teaching English.
