I am arriving in Kyoto at 5:30am by overnight bus from Kamakura. Does anyone know of an internet cafe or something similar that is open 24hrs near the Kyoto Station?

according to Google: Internet Access -- Across from Kyoto Station's south (Hachijo) exit is Topscafe, on the corner of Karasuma and Hachijo Dori (tel. 075/681-9270), open 24 hours. Here you pay 120 ($1/50p) for every 15 minutes

The above poster is correct. I was just at that internet cafe a few days ago (home and done with vacation now, unfortunately). It's up a flight of stairs on the outside of the building right at that corner. You have to pay 200 yen for a membership at the internet cafe if you don't already have one.
