Where to find simple living 2009/2/11 08:29
Knowing that Japan is full of unusual technology, Life may be a bit complicated living in Tokyo(or the surrounding areas), is there anywhere outside of city limits where one can live a little closer to nature?

There is lots of nature outside Greater Tokyo! Two thirds of the country are covered by forested hills and mountains.

Even in the prefecture of Tokyo, you have rural villages in the mountains with bear activity. Or subtropical, small islands.

Whether such a location results in a simple life, is a different question, and depends a lot on your job situation.

Unusual tech? Such as? 2009/2/11 09:45
Japan is full of unusual technology? Can you give us examples of what you think you'd see? There aren't robots in our houses or walking around on the streets, if that's what you're imagining.

Daily life in Japanese cities is not really any more technologically influenced than in any other developed country.
