Are their schools in Hakone?

Hi, I'm a writer and I wanted to know if there are schools in Hakone. I'm writing a story about a foreign girl who moves to Hakone. I want to know what schools are nearby and also...I guess I have two questions... What is Japanese school typically like? My story is fantast but I'm integrating Japanese life within it. I would just like to know so I can correctly portray my character to Japanese teen lifestyle. Please help. Thank you.

Of course there are schools in Hakone, as long as students live there. The map shows them.

have you ever been to japan? when yes, than it would be better and more authentic if you write about a town which you have seen with your own eyes.
but maybe you have a good reason to have chosen hakone.
