I was just curious about what do people love in japan as snacks? Certainly, everyone knows that here in America, Pocky & Ramen are well knowned all throughout the states. Well, I really want to find out more. Please tell me some snacks or food, so I can try them one day please. ^^

While pocky is a popular brand, I hardly ever see anyone eating them not in the context of what some westerners imagine.
Not everyone prefers Yoshinoya Gyudon, there are other rival shops like Matsuya. Think, burger king, wendys vs mcdonalds in beef bowl markets.
Fast food is hugely popular. But one can go on and on. If you want to just stick to snacks, cholates etc are popular, but thats the same in many places.

Gosh, there are tons of Japanese snack foods. Everything from sweet potato chips, wasabi peas, rice crackers to dried fish & squid, natto, edamame, red beans, mochi and all sorts of other stuff. The best thing for you to do is go to a good Asian markert, a Japanese one if you can find it, and explore the snack aisles. Buy a bunch of snacks & enjoy!

The most common snacks nowadays are potato chips, chocolate candy, and ice cream--just like western countries. So you see more fat kids and kids with pimples.
