I live in US so I don't know of any remedy in Japan.
However,I am a licensed physician.
Good hygiene, avoiding friction around the armpit, avoiding wearing polyesther, applying lemon juice are some of the common remedies.
4% Hydroquinone cream is known to be the most effective. This cream is by prescription only in the US. I know that Japan used to have a more relaxed attitude towards prescriptions years ago when I used to live there. But I heard that now it is similar to US. It used to be that a local pharmacist can just give you a prescription drug without doctor's order.
In any case, if you have a doctor in Japan, show him this drug by name and see if he can prescribe it for you.
