If you're in Shinjuku, you could go to Yodobashi Camera or Bic Camera on the West side of the train station. Pretty extensive selection including listening room for speakers.
If you're near the Ginza section of Tokyo, there's a Bic Camera store near Yurakucho train station, also very good selection.
