Do they sell popular Japanese Dramas on DVDs with English subtitles. Do they have discounts? How is the atmosphere in the store? Is it customer- friendly?

The people who work there are very nice, and they did have lots of DVDs last time I was there -- but I think you rarely see doramas with English subs anywhere (unless done by Korea or HK) so I'm not so sure about those.
I don't know about discounts, but they should still have a section of CDs that are 1.00 - $5.00. They also had a loyalty card (one of those get stamps, get $5.00 off types), but the last time I was there was five years ago. :(
