Yamanote All Day Pass? 2009/3/22 17:15
Is there an all day all access pass for the Yamanote Circle Line. My husband and I will be visiting several places and would love to avoid waiting in the ticket line each time.. Does one exist? If so how much is the cost?

The Tokunai Pass gives you unlimited use of the Yamanote Line (and the other JR lines in central Tokyo) for one calendar day at 730 yen.

You will have to ride the Yamanote Line about 5 times in order for the pass to pay off.

If you stay in Tokyo several days, you might want to consider a Suica prepaid card:

There seems to be a day pass for JR trains around Tokyo (including Yamanote line):

But are you sure that all your destinations are along JR train lines? If not, and all you want to avoid is just queuing up (meaning, having no discount is acceptable), then you can get either PASMO or SUICA prepaid card. Either of those cards can be used on JR trains and Metro subways.

If you are non-Japanese and are flying into Narita, there is this NEX-Suica combination package you can buy, which gives you the Narita - central Tokyo ride on Narita Express upon arrival into Narita, and a Suica prepaid card (with some amount on it already) at a discount.
