I know Sunday is the best day to go to Harajuku to watch the Costume Play but can you please advise what is the best time to go? Am, pm or night?

I found that late morning/early afternoon is best. As the day gets later, the cosplayers tend to dwindle. I haven't been there in the evening or night, so don't know if they come back or not. From the station exit, go immediately right, up the hill, and right again to the bridge. That's where most of them congregate. Have a good time!

They start to head home by late afternoon, and they don't come back at night- they are school girls and have to get ready for school the next day!
