There have been a few questions about this already but the answers seems to be a bit different. My camcorder charger (plugs directly into the camcorder) says that it operates from 110 volts to 240 volts with an amp range from 50 to 60. I know that the amps are fine as Japan is between 50 and 60 but the charger doesn't say that it goes down to 100 volts. Other chargers that I have for other electronic things do range from 100 volts to 240 volts. Since my camcorder charger starts at 110 volts do I need a converter? Thanks,

Not really since its not going over, it might just take a little longer to charge, since its under volt instead over voltage.
