Osaka & Kyoto - Good camera stores

I wish to know about some good camera stores in Osaka and Kyoto

Osaka is better than Kyoto in electronics... just get to Den den town area (not far away from Namba station), there�Lre lots of shops there.

There is also a huge "Yodobashi Camera" shop next to Osaka Station and a huge "Bic Camera" shop next to Kyoto Station.

Den Den Town is great for anime/train/airsoft goods... but not so much for electronics these days.

With the exception of a few Duty Free shops that stand on the street targetting more or less exclusively foreign customers and a handful of very reasonable Sofmap stores, your selection there is likely to be more limited than in the ginormous Yodobashi Camera by Umeda Station or any of the Bic Camera stores in the region.

If you have the time, check DenDen for deals, write down the information, and then head over to Umeda to see what Yodobashi can offer you. In terms of selection -- you can't beat it.
