Where to visit to see koi

My wife is keen to visit Japan to see a koi farm. Are there any running trips? or would we be better off just visiting somewhere with koi? We would come in October.

Try checking the Koi-USA magazine - they advertise trips from time to time - I think they have a web site too. What cities are you going to? - this may help narrow down the search.

We would be on my way back to the UK from Australia so anywhere near an airport. I have not yet made any firm booking.
