I was wondering if the trains on JR rail are equipped with Wi-Fi? Will I be able to access the internet at all on trains while traveling around Japan? thanks

I remember reading that wifi will be available on N700 Shinkansen between Tokyo and Osaka starting in the spring... That being said, it's quite slow though so don't count on doing much more than reading email and browsing some sites. They are testing it out on the Nozomi train but that's it. Sit back enjoy the world as it goes by from the window.
