Ladies and gentlemen! I know that my surname Tai-Sin "a big eathqake" means, Could anybody please write it in Japanese?

It would be written "大震" (taishin), although I'm not sure that it is actually used very much on its own like that. I suspect that a Japanese speaker might first think of "耐震" (earthquake resistance) on hearing "taishin".
