Night Transportation from Kobe to Osaka?

hey guys. i'm going to be staying in osaka for one night on the 23rd may. i'm planning to go to a soccer game with a friend in kobe that saturday night, and would like to stay in kobe for awhile after to hang out and party, perhaps till about 12-1am? do buses, subways and trains from kobe to osaka stop at a certain time on weekend nights? seeing as it's from one city to another even though it's not far. or does anyone know what time services stop? or do they keep running non-stop around the clock? your help would be very much appreciated to determine what time i need to leave kobe by. cheers!
