How to make it big in Japan? 2009/5/24 07:18
Hello people, I really need your advice! I'm a very talented singer from London who's desparate to make it big in Japan but no idea where to start... My friend is returning home soon, so thought I might as well go with him and see what happens but wonder if anyone on this site knows a record producer, talent scout etc... I'm also very attractive, so could do some modelling or if that didn't work, maybe a chef as I can cook very well! Please help. x

Maybe make a name for yourself in England first.

I agree with the previous poster, try to make a name or at least have some experience in your own country first before trying to "make it big" in another.

In order to succeed in almost any profession, you need a good network of contacts, which means you need to be able to communicate well and understand the social customs. And then more than anything, you need to work your butt off. IMO, it's harder to do in a foreign country.
