The best suggestion I have is for you to get Dish Network and subscribe to TV Japan. There is at least 1 or 2 programs dedicated to J-pop, at least one in English. There is much good Enka, and Rock in Japan, and KOREA.

thanks a bunch! I live in southern cali and we have a lot of Asian stations without subcribing to anything, so I will pay attention to those
