Where is Lavender field in Mt.Fuji?

I would like to go lavender field around Mt.Fuji. Where is it? I will be in Hakone 10th of August. Will the fower still be bloom around that time?

Ooishi Park and Yagizaki Park near Lake Kawaguchi are famous for lavender but I don't think that lavender is still in bloom in August. The best season is from late June to early July.

The lavender is blooming now, and ends around July 12. The hydrangeas might still be in bloom beginning of August, they are just starting to bloom now. Here is a link for flower seasons:

The Kawaguchiko Lake Ropeway is where you can take the gondola up the mountain, and then hike down (40 min) through the forest and a sea of Hydrangea. It's so beautiful. Also, if you want to see flowers, the lily park at Fuji-ten ski resort should still be in bloom in August.

Are there better/ bigger flower fields (lavender etc) in Chubu or between Tokyo and Nikko, which are on par with farm Tomita in Hokkaido or is above poster Aya's suggestion of Fujisan the best. We will be driving in July to Nikko and Chubu from Narita.
