Is a Ž©ŒÈPR/Ž©ŒÈƒAƒs[ƒ‹ absolutely necessary? Or does it depend on the company?
If it's needed, I'd basically say why I'm good for the company & why I want to work there, right?
Please help!

Yes, they are absolutely necessary. I'm assuming that you're applying for a full-time position and not a part-time job? (Although I don't think it'd make a huge difference). Jiko PR is supposed to be about yourself. You don't have to apply it directly to the company and why you want to work there (like you would a cover letter for a resume). Here is a webpage with some examples: http://www.geocities.jp/shukatunosusume/jikopr.html
