Hello!
Can i buy the JR pass certificate online without the passport? I haven't it yet. But i want to buy the pass now. Is it possible?
The passport is just needed when exchanging the certificate for the real pass when arriving at Japan, right?

Yes, I believe you are correct. In any case, you must buy the voucher/certificate from overseas - once you are in Japan it's too late.
