I am looking at moving to japan to teach english but I don't have a bachelor degree only an advanced diploma in Engineering. I have a job lined up as an english teacher and the company will sposner my visa but I am unsure wether the visa will go through.
Has anyone had any experience with this. Is the bachelor degree a company requirement or is it a requirement for the visa.

The Bachelor's degree is a Japan Immigration requirement, still necessary even if you have a sponsor. I am afraid that your application is unlikely to be accepted unless you also have 3 or more years of teaching experience.
