What clothes should I bring?

I will be in Chiba, Japan from September 28 - March 26. I come from the Philippines and climate/weather is very different. Can anyone suggest what type of clothes should I bring during this period? My wardrobe is mostly consisting of light clothes so I have yet to shop for the ones I should be bringing for my travel. Thanks so much!

You will need a winter coat, scarf and gloves- can you buy those items in the Philippines? You might be better off waiting until you see what the temperature is like here in Japan and what other people wear, then buying them here where there will be more choice. They don't have to be expensive.
