How can I study martial arts for free?

Hi, I don't mean to sound cheap but I don't have any money to go to a school right now and would like to find someone to train with. I don't really need a teacher, I've studied for 8 years myself and just need more of a sparing partner or at least someone to practice together with. Anyone have any ideas how I can find that?

Stand outside a martial arts school and call the people that come out of it bad names. You will learn very quickly what martial arts are, free.

How can I study martial arts for free?
What discipline, where do you want to study, and for how long? If you are planning on studying in Japan have you considered which visa you plan to enter the country on and the time limits associated with each?
