What do these two sentences mean:

1. おっはーのノリはもう通用しないんだぜ?

2.小西氏、やっつけ過ぎ・・・。

These two sentences are sooooo colloquial, that it is difficult to understand the meaning without the specific context and who was talking about whom.

My best guesses without the background...

1. You can no longer get by with the "hey ya, how'ya doing?" around here, you know that? (It sounds like someone lost favor with the buddies but does not notice it and greets them with the regular familiar tone, and one of the buddies gets back at him saying this.)

2. Mr. Konishi is really criticizing (someone) all too harshly...

Great, I had the same feeling about the second one. Either it meant I was doing too good of a job, or he was going to kick my ass if he saw me.

These are comments from one of my Youtube videos.

I think all this started from one of the comment user's profile which claims he is from North Core.

Doesn't the first one just mean "Oha-" (Katori Shingo's old catchphrase) is really passe now?

Maybe the two a-ho's found the video by way of AKB48.

I understood this comment better: 香取慎吾は与えられた仕事を全力でやっているだけなんだろうが、 不憫でならない。

Shingo Katori does his very best with the work he's give, so it's not embrassing (a pity).

OK, I guess I missed the "ohaa-" thing lol.

About: 香取慎吾は与えられた仕事を全力でやっているだけなんだろうが、 不憫でならない。

The last part is a bit different: While I admist Shingo Katori must be doing his very best with the work he's given, he looks so pathetic/I can't help pitying him.

I responded to his comment, 小西氏、やっつけ過ぎ・・・。
by writing ウエー (Kojima Yoshino), meaning I don't care what he has to say
