Great food chains like Yoshinoya?

...they're our favourite last time and I'm wondering if there are others worth looking for for great value, good food, and can be found everywhere?

My faves are: 1) As mentioned, Sukiya. I also prefer them to Yoshinoya.
2) I also like Matsuya (another beef bowl place)
3) Gyoza no osho: a popular sit-down restaurant specializing on dumplings, they also have decent ramen and other chinese-styled items. My favorite.
4) I also think Japan's KFC is much better than the one in America.

Thanks. We'll keep a lookout for them. And no, not specifically gyudon, in fact we love the Yoshinoya collection which has the serve of roast salmon.

I suggest you Osyou. This is a chain store which is famous for Gyouza. There are two type, Kyoto Osyou and Osaka Osyou. I donft know the difference between Kyoto Osyou and Osaka Osyou. In these stores, there are Chinese noodles, fried rice, Chinese soup and so on. There is not expensive. So, this chain store is popular in Japan.
