I was wondering if there's a Japanese version of Popstars or Idols? Like funny and good auditions.

I hope other people will fill in more, but I can immidiately think of "Kokuminteki Bishoujo Kontesuto" (1987-present) and "Horipuro Sukauto Kyaraban" (1976-present). There was also "Sutaa Tanjou" (1971-1983).
