train timing from Ueno Station to Nikko

Hi,
I'm getting confused trying to find out the timetable of the Shinkansen from Ueno Station to Utsunomiya Station.

On the hyperdia website, I can't seem to find any trains between 7am - 8am but I can see trains listed using the timetable from JR website as well as searching on jorudan website. For e.g. there's a Yamabiko train leaving Ueno at 7:10am.

I also have a general question about taking long distance trains. At the station, is it easy to find out the timetable?

The trains marked with a star symbol only operate on certain days. So I suspect that you used different dates when using Jorudan and Hypedia, therefore, some trains came up with Jorudan but not with Hyperdia.

I had absolutely no problems pulling up shinkansens between ueno and Utsunomiya for the times you listed.

Thanks Uji! I didn't realise those (*) marked trains don't operate regularly. I was looking at Nov dates. Guess I need to wake up very early to catch the earlier trains.
