Hi, next year I will go to Kyoto and Tokyo area and I was wondering where I can buy japanese furniture like a low table and chairs for in a tatami room and how to ship it to the Netherlands.

Stores like Tokyu Hands and Loft are found in most major towns and have what you are looking for .Shipping it could be by Fedex. or the long, and perhaps cheaper way,..by boat. You will have to inquire in Japan.
