Hey guys, planning to be in Okinawa during 15th-18th Oct. Was wondering if you can sunbathe etc at that time or is it not hot enough?
Also what are the popular things to do over there? For instance, is there hiking and watersports?
Thanks

Oh, yes. It is still pretty warm during October, mid-80s for the most part.
Plenty of hiking in the northern part of the main island of Okinawa (watch out for the Habu!!).
As far as water sports, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skis, surfing, swimming, sun bathing. How's that for a start?

Since all the summer vacation tourists are back in mainland and yet it's still warm enough for any kind of ocean sports, in October Okinawa will be filled with senior high school students coming on school trips. If you don't mind that, it would be an ideal plan!
