Izunuma Lake from Ichinoseki?

Hi,

We want to see the swans during winter at Izunuma Lake. How do we go there? Do we stop at Kurikoma-kogen station then take another bus? Where can we find the bus schedule & how long is it?

From Ichinoseki, you can take a local train to Nitta, about 30 minutes. You can walk from Nitta station to one end of the lake (with the bird sanctuary center) in about 10 minutes. I only saw directions saying "20 minutes by car/taxi" from Kurikoma-kogen station.
