Baby food and diapers in Sendai

I lived in Sendai ten years ago, and am travelling back to visit friends. I'm somewhat familiar with the area. However, my friend and I are both taking our babies (mine will be four/five months, hers will be ten months), and babies aren't something I've dealt with in Japan before! Does anyone know what sorts of diapers are available (we're both partial to Huggies), and about how much they cost per diaper? Also, her baby is eating solids now. Is the ToysRUs still in Sendai, and does it have foreign baby foods? (I've looked at the kewpie website, and am marginally concerned that most of it is very very very Japanese!). Any knowledgable comments would be very much appreciated!
