Practical studies on ceramics in Japan?

Hello!

I am currently studying ceramics in a vocational school for secondary school graduates (donft know if these are the right terms, English isnft my native language).

We have an opportunity to do a part of our practical studies abroad in 2010 and I have been considering Japan. I donft know Japanese but I am willing to learn the language.

Ifve been in contact with some workplaces I found on the internet, but they havenft answered me. Wonder if they ever willc

So my concern is, will it be hard or even impossible to find a workplace to do practical studies on ceramics in Japan?
