You'll find all kinds of clubs that play techno, trance, psytrance, etc. Here is a list of clubs throughout Tokyo: http://www.sunnypages.jp/search/tokyo_nightlife/dance_clubsDuring the summmer, you'll find makeshift beach huts pop up all over the place in Zushi and Kamakura. There are also great outdoor music festivals going on all the time in the hills of Japan. You might even get lucky and find a free event going on in Yoyogi Park (although, I don't know if they have them anymore in Yoyogi). Club Ageha is probably one of the biggest clubs in the area, so you may want to check that one out first! Have fun!
