Shopping districts opening hours 2009/10/5 01:41
Hi,
I am an avid shopper and will be visiting Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo, and hope to shop alot!
can anyone share what is the typical opening hrs of shopping districts like Shinsaibashi and underground shopping area of Osaka station and Namba station? as I may hv a few days of free time at night for some retail therapy :) preferbly late night shopping?

Is there anywhere in Kyoto I can shop at night like after 9pm?

Is the Shinjuku shopping districts similar to those in Shinsaibashi or mainly malls? do they close very early?

thanks in advance!

As far as I know, underground shopping centers like "Namba Walk" (near Namba) and "Whity Umeda" (near Osaka station) stay open only until 8 or 9 in the evening (restaurants tend to stay open until a bit later).

In Shinjuku, Tokyo, I just checked "LUMINE" shopping mall's website, and they are open till 10 in the evening.
