Hi, I have a cold and my job requires me to actually prove that I have a cold or flu if I want to take a day off from work and still get paid. I cant just call in and say Im sick and take the day off. So is it going to a clinic or hospital? I speak Japanese so that shouldnt be a problem, should I just walk in?
Ive never been to a hospital here and dont know
how things work.
Any advice would be appreciated, thankyou

You don't usually need an appointment. Just go to the clinic with some cash and your insurance card, fill out a form and see the doc. That's it, nothing scary.
