Are there teaching jobs for US citizens?

I am an elementary teacher in the states, but I will be moving with my family to Okinawa this summer for a few years with the Navy. Does anyone have any information for me about possible teaching opportunities or reading tutoring positions?

English is your best bet. I taught a specialized science, but those jobs are very rare.
