No problem, however you will lose some keyboard functionality, and depending on the brand laptop things like function keys and memory card readers may cease to function.

Hi ,
You can buy a laptop from japan but they all come with a japanses os, other than macbooks or pros. The keyboard looks different but you can choose to have for example an american keyboard so everything looks different but are in the same places as in the normal computers..
