Visa for England? 2010/2/2 20:46
I don't know if it's the right section but I couldn't find an answer on the net.

Do Japanese citizens need a Visa if they plan to enter England? I know they don't need it for most of the European countries but UK is always a little bit special about that.

Thank you very much for your answers!

No, not for regular tourist activities.

In what ways have you heard that the United Kingdom (which is the country name that you need to be using to search for visa information rather than England) is a little bit special regarding issues like visas? I can't think of any way that it is.

As a Japanese passport holder you can even stay up to 6 months in the UK (in most other European countries that is 90 days or 3 months)
