I am a doctor, and Japan is quite advanced in my specialty, I am a polyglot & i am working currently on Japanese language..But what are the chances for me to working or research in Japan? being a foreigner I mean...and how do I increase such chances?

To practice in Japan, you need to pass the appropriate exam which is in Japanese. AFAIK there are exceptions for foreign doctors in so-called 'International Clinics' who only treat other foreigner. Maybe check with those about possibilites. Researching should be no problem at all.
