Chanko Nabe restaurants 2010/2/5 01:01
Hi

I'm looking for a Chanko Nabe restaurant to try as I'd like to see what sumos eat.

However, I've got a few questions.

Are the servings sumo size? (as in big quantities)
What is the normal price range?
Also, any recommendations for somewhere good but value for money?

Cheers

I went to a restaurant in Shibu Onsen that served it. I think it was about 2000yen for a large pot. We shared it between 2 but it was probably enough for 3 people.

I had Chanko Nabe when I went on a tour around Japan in march. Its usually served in a large pot, and you share it with a group of people usually. Its a pretty large pot, me and 3 other people had a hard time finishing it. Im not exactly a small person either.

hello 2010/2/13 03:16
Hello.
I am Japanese who lives in Japan.

An average price of the supper per person of the chanko restaurant is from 5,000 to 6,000 yen.
The price of the drink and the side dish is included in this price.

The amount per person of the chanko is an amount matched to a general person.

The homepage of the chanko restaurant was retrieved.
The price of the menu of the introduced restaurant is an average price.
