I think KANAME-YA is more traditional.

In the department store,you may be able to find KANZASHI by accessary or Kimono store.
But that's few.

I guess I should specify. I make kanzashi. I have to substitute some items when I make the kanzashi, so I wanted to find a craft store, with materials to craft kanzashi. Some of those are kimono silk reminants or swatches of silk cloth. Pins, sticks, birabira metal strips, etc.
