Work and education history 2010/2/12 18:50
Hello everybody. A prospective employer asked me for my work and education history. Is the education history a copy of my unofficial or official transcript? Or do I just type in microsoft word the schools I attended in America. Do I do the same thing with my work history? I would ask them but nobody responds during the weekend. I wantto submit the info as soon as possible. I'm leaving for Japan soon. Thank you for your help.

What Japanese companies normally mean is a document outlining what schools you've attended and what work/employment you've had. So you can type it up on Word.

You could do something like:
April 1999 - March 2002: XXX XXX High School (City, State)
April 2002 - March 2006: AAA course, BBB College (City, State)

April 2006 - March 2007: Worked as an enginner at CCC Co., Ltd. (City, State)
etc.

I know in English you would start from the most recent one - you could do it that way, or write (as above) starting from the earlier dates. Good luck!
