How long is one act of Kabuki?

Hi, could anyone tell me the length of one act of a Kabuki show? I actually went last year, but can't for the life of me remember how long I spent there.

And is each act always the same length, or do they vary?

I saw the shortest act whole my life. Only 15 minutes this month at the Kabuki-za theater. I also saw almost 2 hour long one in the evening show.
