a lot of clinics in asahikawa?

just came back from japan, there seems to be a lot of clinics or specialist centres in asahikawa? a lot more than other town/city that we been to in japan, for a place like asahikawa.

Could it be that there were simply more doctors/clinics with the word ".... Clinic" in English at the end so that you recognized them more often?
