what to wear at a shukubo and etiquette? 2010/7/2 14:32
I'm a little nervous and unsure as to what would be considered appropriate or inappropriate clothing, especially for morning prayer. What is the safe way to go, and are they offended by certain things?

Also, are there any comments on how one should act while at a temple lodging? Is it rude to take pictures anywhere or of the monks? Please let me know, and thankyou.

I know nothing about shukubo, but here's what I got by doing a Google image search on the keyword "shukubo" in Japanese. http://www.google.co.jp/images?q=%E5%AE%BF%E5%9D%8A&rls=com.microsoft:...

About taking photographs, I suppose the global rule is to ask before taking a picture.
