DVD store in Tokyo? 2010/7/9 09:15
Hello,

I'd like to track down some old Japanese films from the 20s-40s for my father while I'm here. Can anyone reccomend a store or area where I can find old films on DVD?

Thanks!

There are heaps of places.
In Shibuya for example you'll find a Tower Records and an HMV pretty close to each other. They have a good selection of the films your after (keep in mind the regions and that they most probably wont have any subtitles).

HMV 2010/7/10 04:28
If you want to go to HMV be quick - it will be closed in August.

Else I would also check Book Off and so on. Book Off is in many parts of the town. Maybe you can get them cheap in a 2nd hand store.

Tsutaya have plenty of locations around Japan. Try the one at Roppongi Hills in Tokyo.
