Burst bicycle tire repair

Yesterday the back tire of my bicycle burst (not the tube, the outer one).
Does anyone know how much it will cost to repair this? If it's too much I'd rather buy a used one from a friend.

I've had my whole tube exchanged once, but I don't recall having to pay a surprizing amount of money. Why not visit your nearest bicycle repair shop and ask, "panku no shuuri wa ikura desuka?"

I can't imagine it costing that much. I've changed my tire before and it cost about $50 USD for a good Michelin mountain bike tire. You can certainly find something for cheaper.
Just doing a quick search online, there are plenty in the 2500-4500 yen range if this is only a simple bike for commuting, etc.

You can buy a repair kit at Daiso(100yen shop)
