Hi
I am trying to establish what 出社する means but the 3 translations I have found are pretty different from each other:
1)'going/coming to work' (Jim Breen)
2)'to arrive at one's office/in ones country' (online dictionary)
3)'to clock in/turn up at the office' AJALT
Normally I trust Jim Breen's translation but in the context of some of the examples I have been studying his seems to make less sense than the other 2...
Can anybody help?

I'd say none of them is really wrong but some lack in specificity :) 出社する is to "show up at work," seen from the company's viewpoint. So the first half of 2) (I have no idea where they got "country" idea from), and 3) are accurate.
