Bringing spices to Japan 2010/8/2 18:14
A friend of mine asked me to bring him dried dill (Anethum graveolens), used in Europe for cooking. I'm aware of japanese customs prohibition to bring vegetables and plants into the country. Does this restriction applies to dried spices or is it just for fresh vegetables?
Thanks in advance.

dried dill is available all over japan at any large supermarket in the spice section, as are most spices needed to make indian curries from scratch, and lots of other stuff.
